Geographical Location
Geographical location information contained in Usage Data enables us to tailor your experience on
Thankful by displaying your preferred language (where possible) and showing local currency and pricing.

Protecting Your Information
We use reasonable efforts consistent with industry standards to protect your personal information by using
appropriate security measures intended to safeguard the information in our files. However, because all
information is stored electronically, we cannot 100% guarantee its security. We will notify you of any data
security breach if we are required to do so by law.
Sharing Data With Other Users
When you share personal information or otherwise interact in the public areas with other users, such
information may be viewed by all users and may be publicly distributed outside. For example, event dates
and mailing addresses.
Targeting and Advertising
Your personal data is never disclosed to third parties for remarketing or retargeting purposes. Thankful
never sells email lists or customer information.
Emails
Thankful sends transactional emails regarding user accounts through the email provider MailerSend. You
can find their legal policies here: https://www.mailersend.com/legal. Thankful does not send newsletters,
promotional or marketing emails.
Storing Your Data
We will retain any personal information that you provide to us for as long as you keep an account on
Thankful. You may delete your account at any time. Thankful will also retain Usage Data for internal
analysis purposes.
Affiliate Codes
We may add an affiliate code to some eCommerce sites (e.g. Amazon.com) that results in small
commissions being paid back to Thankful when users make purchases at those sites. This is at zero cost
to our users. We do not use any third parties to do the code insertion, and we do not work with any sites
that share personally identifiable information (e.g. name, address, etc.) via their affiliate programs. This
means that no information is shared from Thankful to the sites. This affiliate process is a
revenue-generating stream for Thankful.
Links to Other Websites
Thankful contains links to other websites that are not operated by us, primarily eCommerce websites. If
you click on a third party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We have no control over and
assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

There also may be times when we are legally required to disclose personal data, such as to regulators,
law enforcement bodies, government agencies, courts or other third parties where we think it’s necessary

"Do Not Track" Policy
California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA) requires disclosure of how we respond to “Do Not Track” (DNT) browser requests.
Thankful complies with DNT requests, however we cannot control the behavior of third-party online stores that users may visit before or after they engage with Thankful.
Protection of Children’s Online Privacy
Thankful does not knowingly target children and makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the targeting of children does not occur.
Children 16 and under are not eligible to use our services without the participation and supervision of a legal parent or guardian.
